Company Overview
Poh & Co., established by Mr. Benny Poh Liong Ban on August 1st, 1987, offers a comprehensive range of accounting, audit, tax, and secretarial services to both corporate and individual clients. In response to our growing clientele, we founded Poh & Tan in 1999 to better meet their needs.
During our humble beginnings, Poh & Co. comprised only two staff members and a handful of clients. Nevertheless, we have experienced remarkable growth in a relatively short span of time. We have expanded not only in terms of the number of staff we employ but also in the scope of services we provide. Our expertise now includes management consultancy, a field that demands the utmost resourcefulness from our staff and presents tremendous growth potential.
Exceptional Team and Extensive Client Network
Currently, we boast a dedicated team of over 60 professionals who diligently serve more than 1,000 clients. However, we are not complacent with our achievements thus far. In the next two to three years, we aim to further augment our workforce and expand our client base. We firmly believe that with the unwavering commitment of our staff and the support of our valued clients, friends, and associates, this goal is within reach.

Through Rotary Management Services Sdn. Bhd., we offer a diverse range of corporate services. Additionally, Inimas Management Consultants Sdn. Bhd. specializes in delivering effective business and consultancy services. Our taxation services are provided by Proservice Tax Consultants Sdn. Bhd.

Benny L.B. Poh
Mr. Benny, a Chartered Accountant with ICAEW, has an extensive background in auditing, tax and consultancy. He received his training in London before returning to Malaysia to work as a management staff at a prominent accounting firm. After gaining valuable experience, he moved on to become an Audit Manager at another accounting firm for a year.
In 1987, Benny established his own accounting firm, Poh & Co. Currently, he serves as the Managing Partner of both Poh & Co. and Poh & Tan. In addition to his managerial responsibilities, he also oversees the corporate and consultancy services provided by the firms.
With over 40 years of experience in the field, Benny brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to his work. His role as a Chartered Accountant and Managing Partner allows him to provide valuable guidance and support to clients in areas such as auditing, tax planning, and consultancy services.
Mr. Tan Kak Teck
Mr. Tan Kak Teck has an impressive 35 years of experience working in Chartered Accounting Firms. He is recognized as a fellow member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, United Kingdom.
Currently, Mr. Tan holds the position of Partner and is responsible for overseeing all audit assignments within the firm. With his extensive experience, he has successfully completed numerous consultancy assignments including floatation exercises.
In addition to his role within the firm, Mr. Tan serves as a board member for Plenitude Berhad and Y&G Corporation Berhad, both of which are listed on the main board of Bursa Malaysia. His involvement in these companies demonstrates his expertise and industry knowledge.
Having spent a significant portion of his career in the field of Chartered Accounting, Mr. Tan brings a wealth of experience and expertise to his current role. His responsibilities as a Partner and board member highlight his ability to provide valuable insights and guidance in audit, consultancy, and corporate matters.
Mr. Yap Leng Huat
Mr. Yap Leng Huat has an impressive 35 years of experience in the fields of taxation and Management Services. Currently, he holds the position of Managing Director at Proservice Tax Consultants Sdn Bhd (PTC). In addition to his role at PTC, he serves as an advisor to various corporate organizations and acts as Secretary to several non-profit Organizations.
Furthermore, Mr. Yap is also the Managing Director of a Consultant company that specializes in a range of services including management consultancy and advisory services, business finance, tax advice and planning to minimize taxation, tax investigation, indirect tax, corporate restructuring exercise and accounting matters.
With his vast experience and expertise in taxation and management services, Mr. Yap brings valuable insights and guidance to his role as Managing Director. His additional responsibilities as an advisor and secretary showcase his extensive knowledge and involvement in various sectors.
Mr. Yap’s diverse skill set and experience make him a valuable asset in providing comprehensive tax and management services to his clients.
